Description:

Trenton Winters, Information Manager at Olsson, will share how the firm has evolved its approach to managing project records across a growing and geographically dispersed engineering workforce. Olsson is a nationally recognized engineering and design firm established in Lincoln in 1956. Trenton will highlight key strategies Olsson has used to improve consistency, efficiency, and legal preparedness through standardization and structured governance. His presentation offers insight into how Olsson balances practical file management with regulatory compliance and evolving technology, with lessons relevant to engineering firms and other project-based organizations.

Bio:
After serving four years in the Marine Corps and obtaining a degree at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln in electrical engineering, Trenton started his journey at Olsson in 2016. He worked on the Mechanical / Electrical team doing design and served as the team's point of contact for Olsson's firmwide quality management plan. In 2023 he started on a team within operations to manage Olsson's quality program. When he’s not at Olsson, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids, aged between 6 and 9. They fill their time with kid's sports, travel, and time outside.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Bio:

Tyler Cruthers is a Lincoln, Nebraska native. He is a graduate of Lincoln East High School. As Facilities Operations Coordinator for the city’s Water Resource Recovery Facilities, he helps lead innovative wastewater-to-energy projects that convert methane from the treatment process into renewable fuel. Passionate about environmental stewardship, Tyler takes pride in turning community waste into a resource that benefits both the city and the planet. Outside of work, he enjoys gardening and cooking for his family, blending his love for nature with his commitment to creating a healthy, vibrant home.
