Bio:
Sherri Maberry is the Collections Manager at the Nebraska State Historical Society, where she oversees collections storage, environmental monitoring, security, accessioning, and documentation. She promotes an active-use approach that engages the public with history while maintaining professional standards. Sherri holds an M.A. in Museum Studies from the University of Oklahoma and a B.A. with Distinction in Anthropology from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Previously, she served as Curator at the Nebraska National Guard Museum and as a Military Historian with the Nebraska National Guard, where she developed command histories, led oral history projects, and managed collections. An accomplished writer and researcher, Sherri has published on Nebraska history, military history, and cultural heritage topics."
